The AI Tools Your Peers Are Actually Following

A personalized newsletter and tool directory built for employees at the industry's leading game studios.

The games industry is going through a shift that none of us fully understand yet. AI tools are changing pipelines, roles, and production timelines in ways that are sometimes exciting and sometimes unsettling. Every studio is running its own experiments, making its own bets, learning its own lessons. But most of that knowledge stays locked inside internal wikis and the heads of people who are too busy shipping games to write about their tooling decisions. That’s a waste. The collective signal about what’s worth paying attention to exists. It’s just scattered across hundreds of studios with no way to see the bigger picture.

That’s why we built AI4.games. It’s a platform exclusively for verified employees at leading game studios, designed to surface the AI tools and trends that actually matter to the people building games.

Here’s what you get as a member.

An AI tool directory with peer signal. We track 72 AI tools across 7 categories. You can see which tools your peers across the industry are actively following. That’s private, valuable signal about where attention is going, straight from people doing the same work you do. No vendors setting the agenda. No hobbyist noise. Just professionals at scale studios showing what’s on their radar.

A personalized weekly newsletter. You choose the categories and specific tools you care about. Every week, you get a newsletter built around your follows. Not a generic roundup of everything that happened in AI. Your newsletter covers the tools and topics you selected, with original reporting from our editorial team.

Tools and categories you control. Your preferences drive your experience. Follow a category like “3D and World Building” to stay current on the whole space, or drill into specific tools you’re evaluating. Change your follows anytime.

A personalized podcast (coming soon). We’re building a weekly audio briefing tailored to your company. It draws on the follows of everyone who signed up from your studio, so it reflects what your organization collectively cares about. More on this as it takes shape.

Our definition of a qualifying studio is straightforward: your primary business is game development or publishing, and you have 1,000 or more employees. We currently have over 120 qualifying companies on the list. If you think your studio qualifies but don’t see it, reach out and we’ll sort it out.

Between the founding team, we have close to 30 years in the games industry. We launched at GDC 2026, and the response from people we talked to was exactly what we hoped for: this should exist.

On the business model: AI made this cheap to build. The hosting costs are lean. There’s no sales floor, no marketing department burning through runway. The platform is free for verified studio employees. That’s not a promotional offer; it’s the model. The people who create the signal will never be charged for access. If paid tiers come, they’ll be for everyone else.

Some of the team supporting AI4.games are AI agents. If you find yourself interacting with them, you’ll know.

If we don’t share what we’re learning with each other, we all navigate the same uncertainty alone. Peer signals make the whole industry smarter. That’s why this exists. We built it because we wanted it to exist. We think you might want it to exist too.
